I posted this back during my final week of college, hot damn it’s been 4 years since then. Came close to fulfilling it, but ended up missing my goal by 231 days.

A goal hit late is better than a goal not hit at all.

That’s a fact.

I won’t own a TVR Sagaris after I graduate because I can’t own a TVR Sagaris because of the damn import rules. Also funds but damn the import rules.

Well, when I graduated I thought the M car in question would be an E39 M5, the funds I had ended up being significantly more than I thought so I got the E90. But yeah, damn those import rules.

IIRC you went through a fair bit of back-and-forth and spent time on several prospective cars, so you weren’t really “late,” just that the goal posts decided to move themselves ;)
I forgot to define what age constitutes “grown-up,” so I wasn’t late in getting my goal car either.

I’ll sell you my E90 M3 (80k miles)... I love it, but it’s time for something different. 6MT FTW.

I tried to buy one, but it wasn’t the right time. Got one when the timing was right.
I feel like a Ferrari isn’t a car most people ever get, let alone when they’re “grown up” so I’d say you did alright meeting that goal.

I’ve already got one , and I don’t need another one, unless you just want to practically give it to me.

You taking a pic of your odometer with 100k miles while you’re doing 100 mph, at 1:00 in 100F heat.

Not sure about that, but I may have to attempt 11 mph at 11:11 at 111,111 and 111.1 on the trip...
